Like many of the Matchbox truck toys that we see in the market, the Matchbox rocky also carries the known yellow color of Matchbox. One of the great features the matchbox rocky has is its ability to load and move out items. My boys enjoys the moment when they load up some things on the truck and have them all moved out with just a single press of a button. It also has the ability to respond when the user creates some sound, which the kids will surely love as they do their dancing and dumping tricks. Aside from the fun moves, the matchbox rocky also has the ability to produce sounds like various phrases and jokes.

Much to my surprise, even my hubby is having a great time playing with the new matchbox truck that we have for our kids. Hubby loves playing with the kids as they load and unload heavy items, which is not a treat for the toy because the Matchbox Rocky the Robot is made from strong and durable plastic and it indeed shows in the product’s appearance and performance. Matchbox Rocky the Robot Truck is a cool and interactive robot truck designed for children ages three and older. This Matchbox robot truck can talk, drive, lift, dump, and even dance, which make it perfect companion for your boys. Speaking over 100 phrases, Rocky robot truck from Matchbox has a clever line for everything. You can do all the work by hand, or get him to help out.
Load ‘Em Up and Move ‘Em Out
Built with strong, durable plastic, this Matchbox truck is ready to handle heavy loads. Your child can manually tilt his dump bed to unload it — or make some noise and he’ll do it for you. And when you push Rocky forward or pull him backward on all six wheels, his blue headlights are activated and he’ll make some noise of his own, with engine sounds and honking.
The smokestack on the front of the truck is the primary way to control this robot truck. Tilting the lever back gets Matchbox Rocky Truck to stand on his back four wheels. Automatically set in dump mode, pressing the red button on top of the smokestack several times will switch the truck to dancing mode, where he’ll shake his upper truck body to music. Pushing the lever forward returns Rocky to a normal truck position.
The red button also cues Rocky Truck to say one of his many phrases or jokes, and also wakes him up if he’s taking a nap. If you don’t play with Rocky for a while, he will go into sleep mode — a may even snore. Kids get Rocky’s attention by placing objects in his dump bed, or by pushing or pulling him.
